MAKESHIFT ACCESSORIES

Makeshift Accessories was started by Devin Johnson in 2008 after he got a taste for the creative process while making his first leather piece. His brother Eric joined him in 2010 to assist with production.

By using a variety of recycled, salvaged, antique & found materials, he stays true to his his mission of telling a story about humanity with each piece & being completely environmentally friendly—even down to the rivets that are handmade in the shop out of electrical wire scraps. The pieces are incredibly fascinating & never mundane, often coming from car wrecks which give them an instant industrial, modern vibe.
