HELLO!
I’m Tari Johnson—art director, designer, painter, & founder of One-Offs Yippee!  I’ve worked in the world of fashion & style for a long time, on the retail, editorial & advertising sides of the business. In the process I’ve gotten to know the most amazing artists—photographers, illustrators, clothing designers, stylists, visionaries, insanely creative geniuses... These people have always inspired me & made me want to share their incredible talents with others.
     The idea for this site came to me a little while ago as I was working on a painting for a client. I went into panic mode, worrying about making it turn out just the way she wanted. That’s when it occurred to me that it’s always like that for the people I hire—constantly trying to achieve someone else’s vision. I began thinking how great it would be if these artists had a place to showcase their personal work. It would give them an outlet for work that’s not available commercially & it would give lucky people like us the chance to own something absolutely unique & wonderful. So One-Offs Yippee! was born. It’s the place where top creative talent gives you access to one-of-a-kind treasures, carefully curated by someone who is absolutely passionate about great artists & their work (that would be me!)
